Schwarzenberg PC
Schwarzenberg is an action adventure game by Radon Labs development team. The player takes on the role of a scientist who, together with a small unit, is directed to a place isolated by the Allied and Soviet forces just after the end of the Second World War.
Schwarzenberg is a representative of the increasingly popular genre of "Stealth Action" taking place in 1945, at the fall of the Third Reich. The authors call Schwarzenberg "Historical Thriller" and the gameplay "60% Silent Shooter Action - 40dventure'. As mentioned above, the action of the game takes place in 1945. Europe was completely devastated by the war, the Allied armies almost completely defeated German power and liberated from the yoke of Nazism all countries, cities and villages, except for one place, the title Schwarzenberg. American troops under the command of General Patton received a "strange" order not to occupy this place, but only to isolate it from the world and its surroundings, together with the Red Army troops with a strict cordon. From the very beginning, there were more and more fantastic rumours about Schwarzenberg as a secret Nazi base, a place for storing huge wealth and treasures, or projects of super weapons of the Third Reich. The player becomes an Allied scientist to accompany a troop of soldiers sent on a mission to filter the Nazi bastion in Schwarzenberg. The seemingly routine task quickly transforms into a real nightmare, which will lead us to discover the terrible secrets of this place and the surrounding network of betrayals and lies.
The story described in the game is based on facts and historical events, and the action takes place in the area of Erzgebirge, a mountain region located in eastern Germany (Schwarzenberg is a real place, and in addition, it is there that the authors of this production were raised). This ensures that the entire local environment and area, including the old castles, surrounding caves, forests, human settlements, etc., have been reconstructed in detail. (it took about 12 years to collect the necessary information, write down ancestral accounts of the so-called "Free Republic of Schwarzenberg"). The authors ensure that everything is 100% in line with reality, including the weapons, vehicles and other equipment in the game - all based on the exhibits in Berlin's museums. Almost every problem we encounter can be solved in two ways: aggressive with the use of weapons, or more sophisticated, requiring thinking and a bit of inventiveness. The advanced graphical engine "The Nebula Device" is responsible for the presentation of the world and the action, whose previous versions were used in titles such as: Urban Assault and Project Nomads.
