Samurai Defender Description
Samurai Defender is a tower defense game developed by Link Kit.
Story
Samurai Defender takes place in war-torn feudal Japan. The player takes on the role of a commander, whose task is to defend the castle against attacks of enemy forces. Holding the fortress is important as it is the key to unite the inhabitants of the surrounding lands.
Mechanics
The action in Samurai Defender is observed from the side. During the game we receive various units, which we send to fight against successive waves of enemies. Initially we command only archers (they can fire automatically, but at any time we can set them a specific target), but with time our command includes, for example, cavalry. In addition, as we progress, we earn money that we can use to purchase upgrades for our subordinates. This is all the more important as adversaries also do not pull their punches in order to capture our fortress; although their strength lies mainly in numbers, in later stages of the struggle they send in more and more powerful units, including heroes, who act as bosses, have much greater resistance to damage and attack power.
Technical aspects
Two-dimensional graphics of Samurai Defender adopt a colorful, cartoonish style. On mobile devices and Nintendo consoles we control the game using touchscreens; however, owners of Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch can also use buttons. It is also worth noting that on PCs, smartphones and tablets the game is available in freemium model.
