A freeruning TPP/FPP arcade game about parkour. Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game has us playing as a freerunner, trying out various city courses. The game rewards clearing obstacles quickly, having smooth runs and performing air tricks to boost the multiplier score.
Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game is an arcade game entirely devoted to the so-called freerunning. This is an extreme sport that involves running through obstacle-filled courses. The runs must not only be done smoothly, but also in the most spectacular way possible. The game was developed by the independent, one-person studio MLMEDIA.
In Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game we take on the role of a freerunner. Unlike in many games that tackle the theme of parkour, where it is largely automated, here we have full control over the character at all times.
The game provides us with a variety of urban maps with an open structure. In addition to diverse buildings, the gameplay is enriched by variable weather conditions. We run forward and slide on surfaces, jump on elements of the environment (such as metal barriers or concrete walls), and perform various tricks in the air. Acrobatics crowned with a smooth landing are rewarded with points, while doing combos provides us with multipliers, which can significantly increase the final score we achieve.
The game has implemented a series of challenges, in which we can test our skills. They may be about completing designated routes as quickly as possible or fighting to score as many points as possible. In order to increase the precision of our tricks (and the chances of a good landing), we can use the slow-motion mode.
We can admire our player from behind his back (TPP) or watch the action from his eyes (FPP). The game allows us to customize his appearance to individual preferences. We can also embody a pigeon and freely traverse the map in its skin, for example in search of the most freerunning-friendly locations.
Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game runs on Unreal Engine 5.

Game Ratings for Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game Video Game.
Use a Potion: 7.5 / 10
Rooftops & Alleys won’t be for everyone, but for players who find satisfaction in nailing a perfect line or mastering a tricky combo, there’s a rewarding movement playground here. It’s got a bit of a difficulty curve, but thanks to its intuitive and clever controls, fun selection of levels, and sense of chaos when things do go wrong, it makes for a really good time. And sure, it might not hook you in for too long when playing solo, but if you’ve got friends to join you, there are hours upon hours of fun to be had with Rooftops & Alleys.
Analog Stick Gaming: 7 / 10 by Jeff M Young
While a bit more structure and more challenge-types in single player would have been ideal, it’s a solid foundation for what could be a potential series. It has that Tony Hawk Pro Skater appeal, but does lack the format and presentation to really stand out. The customization for your character is solid, and the locations you’ll visit have some great variety. Rooftops and Alleys: The Parkour Game had one mission to achieve, and while it may ragdoll from time to time, it nonetheless lands its initial leap, at least with friends.
TheBigBois: 8 / 10 by Zachary Holmes
Rooftops & Alleys is what happens when a developer builds a game with a single mission: honor the joy of movement. It’s not trying to compete with AAA action titles or narrative-driven indies. It just wants you to feel free, fluid, and occasionally like a parkour god. And in that mission? It succeeds.
