An elaborate real-time strategy in which the player commands peoples from many different epochs, trying to dominate other civilizations. The fights are carried out on the eponymous planet RiverWorld.

Riverworld is a game that combines a challenging real-time strategy with a classic RPG. In many respects, the whole series refers to books from the title series by the American writer Philip José Farmer. Cryo Interactive is responsible for the preparation and release of this game, also known for such series as Atlantis or Arthur's Knights.

Riverworld takes place in the distant future. The place for the presented events is the eponymous planet RiverWorld, which in many respects resembles the Earth, but now consists of one river, connecting both poles. In many ways, the fun is reminiscent of such series as Empire Earth or Age of Empires. The game begins in the prehistoric era and ends in the distant future. It is only up to the player to decide whether his civilization will be able to advance to subsequent epochs (such as wood or tile). The game is largely based on making the right economic decisions, creating production chains and exploring the immediate surroundings.
