Steam
A grotesque first-person survival horror, designed primarily for online co-op for up to 6 people. In R.E.P.O. we play as a robots, venturing into dangerous locations overrun by monsters. Our primary goal is to look for valuables left by the humans and carefully deliver them to the extraction point.
R.E.P.O. is a survival horror prepared with multiplayer gameplay in mind. The game was developed by the independent Swedish studio Semiwork, which has the warmly received project Voidigo in its portfolio.
Story
R.E.P.O. transports us to a world in which humanity has vanished in the twilight of history. Its place was taken by robots and all sorts of monsters. During the game, we take on the role of robots and our task is to locate and acquire valuable remnants of an ancient civilization. Of course, while pursuing our guiding goal, we must constantly be on guard, so as not to fall into the clutches of creatures that tirelessly hunt us.
Gameplay
In R.E.P.O. we watch the action from the first person perspective (FPP). The game takes us to locations bathed in darkness, where dangers can lurk around every corner. While exploring them, we must look for valuable items (from ceramics to pianos), and if we want to profit from them, it is necessary to safely reach the exit with them.
The matter is complicated by the fact that the goods grabbed with a special energy tool are subject to the laws of physics, making them easy to destroy.
Enemies
Aggressive enemies lurk in the places we visit during the game. Robots can engage opponents in battle. Due to the superior strength of creatures a much better option often turns out to be acting stealthy, and when necessary - escape.
Selling loot and developing robots
After safely extracting from the mission site, we can sell the collected goods, and spend the earned money on upgrades and weapons, which facilitate subsequent expeditions.
Co-op
R.E.P.O. allows for single-player gameplay, however, the game was designed with online coop in mind for up to 6 people. A voice chat was implemented in the game, taking into account the distance between the robots controlled by individual players.
