Prepared for mobile users, the continuation of the crazy racing game from 1999, which is an improved and tuned version of the original, which hit mobile devices in 2012. In the game, we take control of remote-controlled car models, participating in crazy racing struggles, taking place in many original locations.
Re-Volt 2, released on AND and iOS, is a continuation of the classic racing game from 1999, in which we participate in the crazy races of remote-controlled cars. Contrary to the title, however, we are not dealing here with a completely new game, but rather an improved and remastered version of the original, which in 2012 also found its way to mobile platforms. Both reeditions were developed by WeGo Interactive.
Mechanics
In Re-Volt 2, we take control of miniature models of vehicles, controlled by radio waves, and take part in a series of races. Among the tracks, we can find such unusual places as various theme parks, a museum and even a supermarket. The tracks prepared by the creators were mostly taken from the original, but thanks to their different variants and several different modes of play, we received over 260 tracks with different characteristics and goals to achieve.
Players have at their disposal dozens of cars, divided into 4 classes: racing cars, sports cars, off-road and monster trucks. They differ not only in appearance but also in performance such as speed, acceleration, grip, and stability. As the game progresses, we can improve the individual models. The driving model used in the game is pure arcade. During races, we can also collect bonuses scattered along the routes which provide us temporary performance improvement or weapons, allowing you to eliminate your rivals.
Technical aspects
Re-Volt 2 offers improved physics and tuned audio-visuals which are much better than the original PC version from years ago. The game is distributed in a free-to-play model, using as many as three different currencies, which we can obtain by paying real money.
