R.B.I. Baseball 19 is another part of a series of sports games from Major League Baseball Advanced Media. The advantage of the production is the license of the American MLB, thanks to which we have at our disposal teams and players known from the real world.

R.B.I. Baseball 19 is another part of the series of games dedicated to baseball, whose history dates back to the 1980s. The game has a license from the American MLB - we will find real players and teams in it (the data is constantly updated). The development and release of this production is the responsibility of Major League Baseball Advanced Media development studio (established by MLB itself).

Mechanics

In terms of gameplay R.B.I. Baseball 19 is a game similar to the previous ones. The developers have prepared a somewhat simplified, arcade sports game which does not try to be a realistic simulator of the presented discipline, although at the same time it is not completely devoid of tactical depth either.

The MLB license allows you to play in faithfully reproduced stadiums with real teams and players. There are more than a thousand of them in total, with both modern players and old stars such as Jackie Robinson, Reggie Jakcson and Ted Williams (we also have access to legendary teams).

The game also allows you to play the role of a team manager - this requires, among other things, controlling finances. We take care of the line-up (both by buying players and hiring agents who are looking for new talent) and the financial side (we take care of money and sponsors).

Compared to the previous part, the manager module has been improved and developed (a new type of players has been introduced, which offers new opportunities and increases the attractiveness of competition for players on the market) and the physics system, which is responsible for keeping the ball on the pitch.

Game modes

In R.B.I. Baseball 19 we can play alone or with others. We have at our disposal the Franchise Mode, in which we play the full league season, as well as Exhibition - allows you to play single matches against another user or AI-controlled opponent (on mobile devices we play over the Internet, but on consoles we can also do it locally).

We also have a Home Run Derby mode, where we try to knock out as many balls as possible (we can challenge another player or computer).

Technical aspects

R.B.I. Baseball 19 has a nice, three-dimensional graphic design, which has been improved in comparison to the previous part. We have better player models, more realistic animations (hundreds of new ones added) and more detailed mapping of sports equipment. The design of the stadiums was also taken care of.
