Rayman Rush is a spi-off of the popular series of platform games created by Ubisoft, released for PS1 in 2002. The title is a party game, in which players take on the role of the characters known from the traditional installments of the series and compete with each other in various arenas. This is a simplified version of Rayman M, known from other hardware platforms.
Mechanics
In Rayman Rush, seven characters, well-known to fans of the franchise, are at the player's disposal. Among them we can find the title Rayman, his companion Globox and pirate Razorbeard. The selected competitor participates in a series of races on eleven crazy tracks, thematically inspired by the levels of the first two Rayman games. Unlike the version released on platforms as Rayman M, the first edition featured no Battle mode, in which characters instead of racing against each other, fight in specially designed arenas.
Game modes
Ubisoft's production offers five variants of fun. The Championship enables us to confront artificial intelligence or a second player on subsequent tracks in the championship. In Lums mode it is necessary to collect objects scattered on maps. Target Mode has a solo player complete a level as quickly as possible and shoot butterflies on the way for a time bonus. Time Attack is a classic race against time, while Training enables us to learn the rules of the game and learn about the routes.
