Plot
Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan takes us on a journey to a fantastic world where humans and bizarre creatures live in harmony with each other, enjoying peace. Or at least that was the case until this land was put under a curse, as a result of which all colors disappeared from it. Our head in this to restore its former colors, so to speak, while helping the creatures we encountered (who, out of gratitude, will accompany us on further adventures).
Interestingly, under the guise of a simple story about saving the world is a story about growing up, accepting ourselves and others around us, as well as the changes taking place in our environment.
Game mechanics
In Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan we observe the action from a top-down view. It gives us a vast world made of more than 85 islands, between which we move on board the ship. Traversing these patches of land, we not only learn their many secrets, but also make friends with the creatures inhabiting them. Helping the latter in dealing with the problems plaguing them, we gain friends who, after completing the task, decide to join us. Thanks to this, over time we gain new abilities, which allow us to venture further and further and face more challenges. The fun is diversified by various environmental puzzles, and in moments of respite from the great adventures we can indulge in, for example, fishing (which is presented in the form of a simple mini-game).
