RAD Boarding Description
RAD Boarding, released on AND and iOS, is a dynamic arcade game in which we play the role of a snowboarder who escapes from streams of lava. The title was created by Other Ocean Interactive.
Mechanics
RAD Boarding welcomes the player with a big red button and a message: "Do not press!" When we press the button, we can see the immediate consequences in the form of a volcanic eruption. From that moment on, we are forced to run away from the lava stream chasing us. We do that by sliding down on our trusty snowboard.
The mechanics of the game resemble solutions known from such games as Tiny Wings, and the key to success is precise control, which will allow us to achieve the highest possible speed and rebound force. While sliding down the mountain, we gradually gain speed to launch into the air as quickly as possible to collect gold coins scattered on the map by performing tricks. The currency can then be used to buy numerous upgrades and power-ups, which will make the game easier to play.
Technical aspects
Unlike many similar productions, RAD Boarding offers impressive graphics, full of intense colors and many special effects. The game is distributed in a typical free-to-play model, but with a bit of patience, we can go through the whole game without spending real money.
