RACE: The WTCC Game is a simulation designed by the developers responsible for the GTR series and the equally successful GT Legends game. This product builds on ideas from previous races of the Scandinavian team. We are dealing here with a position in which particular emphasis was placed on high realism of the game. As a result, RACE boasts a license to participate in World Touring Car Championship (FIA) races, which are supervised by the FIA.

There are several different modes of play available to the player. These include, among other things: Open Practice (possibility of getting to know the available tracks freely), Quick Race (fast race), Race Weekend (full start, including training and qualification), Driver Duel (attempt to beat track records), Time Attack (race against time) and Championship. In the latter case we have to deal with the whole season of the championship - the players accumulate points here, which are counted to the general classification. RACE: Caterham is the official addition to RACE: The WTCC Game, which premiered at the end of 2006. As the title may suggest, it focuses on the cars of Caterham Cars, a respected British manufacturer.

The extension was issued on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the brand specializing in the production of replicas of the famous Lotus Super Seven. The appendix contains three vehicles of this company, namely the CSR line - Caterham CSR 200, CSR 260 and CSR 320.

In addition to the cars shown above, players can also enjoy two new routes, which are not included in the basic version of RACE. These are: located in Italy and hosting many prestigious competitions Imola (Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari), and also located in Portugal Estoril track (Autodromo do Estoril). In addition, the manufacturer has included a number of minor amendments in his work. Added, among other things, more detailed windows informing about current results; extended controller options and finally made some changes in the appearance of the graphics. Importantly, RACE: Caterham requires a basic version of RACE: The WTCC Game to work properly. More information about the game can be found here.
