A shoot’em up game, in which the players assume the role of a pilot of a space fighter jet. Their task is to attack a fortress of aggressive aliens who are trying to conquer Earth. Quad Fighter K can be played alone or with three other players.

Plot
Quad Fighter K takes place in a distant future. The Earth and humans were attacked by a mysterious alien civilization. Luckily, not all is lost – those who survived the invasion obtained artifacts that belonged to the invaders. Properly used, these artifacts will enable them to perform a counter-attack. The players assume the role of a leader of the assault on aggressors’ fortress.
Mechanics
In Quad Fighter K the action is presented from a top-down perspective. The game is strongly inspired by other games in the genre. The players control a fighter jet and they eliminate hordes of adversaries that come from above. During the battles, the players must avoid bullets and enemy machines and look for power-ups that increase chances for victory. From time to time, there are also bosses to defeat.
Game modes
Quad Fighter K can be played alone or with up to three other players. What’s interesting, the ships of various players can be combined in order to increase their combat potential and unlock unique attacks.
Technical aspects
The two-dimensional graphics of Quad Fighter K uses a pixel-art retro style that references the genre beginnings during the 8-bit era. The same goes for the sounds and the chiptune soundtrack.
