The action of Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians is set in a fantastical world torn by wars. The campaign tells us the story of the 70-year-long war, the direction of which has been set by the long forgotten warriors. The player assumes the role of one of those warriors.

The players get to catch diverse species of beasts inhabiting the vast land of Ethia, expand the village, and enter relationships with the villagers. The game has been designed to deliver a 4-player cooperative multiplayer mode.
