Project Pantheon

Project Pantheon is a production that combines the features of an action RPG and an extraction game, which is why its creators call it an "extrAction RPG". The title is distributed in a free-to-play model with micropayments, and is developed by Wolcen Studio - a development team whose portfolio includes the game Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem.

Game world and storyline

Project Pantheon takes us to a post-apocalyptic fantasy universe. The source of inspiration for the creators were various cultures and the stories associated with them, led by Norse mythology, on which the beginning of our adventure in this land is modeled.

Before the release, the developers promised that what shape the world they created would eventually take would largely depend on the opinion of the players involved in the creation of the game.

As for the story told here - in the course of the game we play as characters who, having crossed over to that world, received from Death herself the task of restoring order in the devastated reality.

Gameplay

In Project Pantheon we watch the action in isometric view. While wandering through the locations, we mainly deal with completing tasks and fighting enemies. We eliminate hordes of enemies in close quarters or at a distance, during dynamic skirmishes using weapons and combat skills. As we progress, we develop characters and collect better equipment - from more powerful weapons, through better armor, to artifacts that further increase our combat potential.

Following the example of extraction games, not wanting to lose the loot acquired during a given expedition, after its completion we have to reach the exit of the location in one piece. Our base of departure is a hidden fortress, which we reach between successive escapades. Visits to the fortress are an opportunity not only to make improvements to it, but also to exchange equipment and get rid of unnecessary items, as well as to prepare for upcoming challenges.

Game modes

Project Pantheon allows only multiplayer gameplay. Players can compete against each other, but also cooperate and trade.
