Action games with FPP view designed mainly for multiplayer network battles, however, it also has a single player mode. The authors have set the action in a fantasy world, where two sides fight each other - one represents good and the other evil. In practice, this means that in battles there are two teams of players, consisting of up to 32 people each. There are several character classes that can be controlled in battle: A human warrior, an Elven archer and a master of shade movement, a Dwarf specializing in using explosives and repairing damaged structures or devices, a Sorcerer with destructive offensive spells and finally a Healer. Each of these professions plays a specific role in the team, and the cooperation of all of them is a guarantee of victory. A very important aspect of the game are the options of gaining experience by controlled characters and promotion in general rankings.

Authors have prepared several game modes for fans, including cooperative, deathmatch or team based objective. The whole was designed to force players to cooperate with each other. In every skirmish, the game sets before us the goals (priority and additional) that we must achieve during the fight, including those typical for this type of products: defend yourself or attack the base, as well as a bit more original, such as: deliver siege equipment somewhere, infiltrate the castle and kill the innocents, or conquer castle observation towers. Each three or four battles are combined into a mini-campaign, so that the outcome of the previous clash has a very big impact on the next skirmish. Interestingly, these battles are not limited in time, so in extreme cases they can last up to several hours.

Just like in most modern action games dedicated to multiplayer fun, here too we will find a number of vehicles that we can, and often must, use in combat, ranging from catapults or battle steeds, and on dragons, giant trolls and battle ships equipped with ballistics. Project Offset is equipped with a modern three-dimensional graphical engine and a good physical engine ("ragdoll" effect support), thanks to which during the fight we observe destructive elements of the environment, spectacular flashes of spells, etc.
