OpenCritic
A multiplayer arcade game developed for Nintendo Switch. The game rules are simple - the characters run around a board divided into smaller panels. By jumping you rotate the tiles near your avatar, changing their color to match it. If someone else steps onto your tile, they drop out of the game. When rotating the tiles you can earn various power-ups which e.g. increase your speed or the number of the rotated tiles.

Gert Lush Gaming: 8.4 / 10 by Jim Smale
The game is fun but lacks any real depth.
Reno Gazette-Journal: 5 / 10 by Jason Hidalgo
A solid base mechanic with potential and affordable price make Flip Wars an intriguing proposition for party game lovers. Its lack of content, however, reduce the mileage you might otherwise get from the game, especially in solo play. If you like to see a different take on Bomberman-style games and can round up folks to play with you, however, this budget title can still be worth flipping into.
Digitally Downloaded: 1.5 / 5 by Matt Sainsbury
Flip Wars' problem is that it has no depth whatsoever. That silly, simple, chaotic, and utterly pointless button masher that you had a quick laugh at when you play it for the first time really is all that's on offer.
Flip Wars Description
Project Mekuru is an arcade game released on Switch designed for multiplayer games. The title is only available in digital distribution.
Mechanics
Gameplay in Project Mekuru is based on quite simple rules. There are four players on a small board. The goal of each of them is to eliminate competitors - they do that by rotating the panels on the floor. We do this by jumping - this causes the tiles near the hero to rotate and change their color to the one assigned to that player. If another person steps on our panel, they get eliminated from the game. Some tiles can give us various power-ups, e.g. increased movement speed. However, some of the tiles are fixed and cannot be rotated. Skillful players can use this to their advantage.
Project Mekuru on the Switch has a four-player multiplayer. The game can be played both over the Internet and locally on a single console.
Technical aspects
The graphics aren't spectacular. We see only a white map and colorful characters dressed in futuristic suits. The game doesn't any spectacular effects, and there is usually nothing interesting in the background. Nevertheless, Project Mekuru looks decent in motion and the graphics don't interfere with good fun.
