Project 1v1 is a science fiction online first-person shooter developed by Gearbox – the creators of games like Borderlands, Brothers in Arms and much more controversial Duke Nukem Forever, Aliens: Colonial Marines and Battleborn.
Mechanics
Project 1v1 combines a competitive online first-person shooter mechanics with a strategic layer taken from… collectible card games. The players can participate in three gameplay modes: Ranked, Challenge and Arena. In Ranked mode victories are awarded with experience and chests with cards. Challenge mode enables the player to challenge his or hers friends. Arena mode enables the players to join the queue for a fight with the current champion – victory provides an opportunity to take their place.
