Plot

Professional Farmer: American Dream gives the player a chance to fulfil their farming ambitions in the USA. The production is set in Midwest where your ranch is placed. The objective is to make it thrive.

Mechanics

Gameplay of Professional Farmer: American Dream consists of two core aspects, economic being the first one. The main goal is to bring prosperity to the ranch. Once you gather enough money, you can develop the farm, which means expanding infrastructure, buying more machines, hiring additional staff, and enlarging your fields. The second main element is simulation – during gameplay, you can get behind the wheel of a dozen of licensed machines; apart from tractors and harvesters, the player can also drive pickups to reach distant points. The game requires the player to cultivate land, grow particular plants (pumpkins are a new feature), harvest, and tend to animals.

Game modes

The main game mode of Professional Farmer: American Dream for PC and PS4 is Career. Moreover, the title offers a tutorial for the less experienced digital farmers.

Technical aspects

The 3D visuals of Professional Farmer: American Dream are nothing special. Still, the authors implemented such features as dynamic soil and visualisations of different phases of crops’ growth, which is done in real time.
