Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse, released on PC and NDS, was developed by Gogii Games, a Canadian studio specializing in casual productions. The game was created for young fans romance stories with elements of horror.

Plot

The titular character is about to marry her beloved prince Adam. On the eve of her wedding, the girl goes on a short visit to the nearby town. When she returns, she discovers that a terrible curse has been cast at her family castle. The evil witch imprisoned Isabella's loved ones in seven broken mirrors. To free them, the princess must collect all the fragments. It is not easy, however, given the fact that the building has been conquered by spirits...

Mechanics

Fortunately, Isabella is not alone in her struggle with the curse and the evil witch. She can count on the help of her fairy. During the game, a magical creature serves as a hint, but in certain situations, it can also use various special powers, which are sometimes necessary to perform certain tasks.

The gameplay in Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse is a mix of logical and hidden objects puzzles. The game is divided into seven stages - the main character gains access to the next fragments of the family castle gradually. The tasks facing the player are very varied and characterized by varying degrees of difficulty. However, the help system has been designed in such a way that no challenge is too demanding.

Technical aspects

As for the visuals, Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse doesn't differ from the standards in this type of productions. The two-dimensional graphics are based on hand-drawn backgrounds complemented by simple animations.
