Power Rangers Samurai Description
Power Rangers Samurai, released on Wii and NDS, is a loose adaptation of an extremely popular TV series for a younger audience. It was developed by Namco Bandai in cooperation with Saban Brands.
Plot
The main characters of Power Rangers Samurai are the titular warriors - a new generation of Power Rangers who use ancient Samurai symbols to wield the powers of air (pink), earth (yellow), water (blue), fire (red), forest (green) and technology (gold). Together, they are trying to foil the plans of the evil Master Xandred and his army of Nighlok, who want to sink the whole planet in the waters of the mythical Sanzu River.
Mechanics
Playing as your favorite Power Rangers samurai, you have to face numerous opponents. The basics of the gameplay in Power Rangers Samurai are dynamic clashes shown from the third-person perspective (TPP). In combat, the heroes use a whole spectrum of weapons, attacks and special combinations well known to the fans of the series.
The creators placed great emphasis on the compatibility of the game elements with the universe of Power Rangers Samurai. As a result, the game features, among other things, Zords characteristic for each member of the team, as well as the possibility of combining them into a Megazord.
Technical aspects
The visuals in Power Rangers Samurai don't deviate from the standards set by similar productions. It is worth noting that the frames from the series were used as cut-scenes and illustrations of places and events connected with the plot.
