Polish Simulator

Polish Simulator, released in Poland under the peculiar-sounding title Janusz Simulator, is a humorous simulation game that allows us to taste the charms of the life of the titular Janusz, who is a stereotypical Pole. The production was developed by the Simplicity Games team from Rzeszów, whose portfolio includes such projects as Sejm: The Game and Ski Jump Challenge 2024.

Storyline

The story told in Janusz Simulator is not particularly ambitious. During the course of the game , we play the role of the titular Pole. The protagonist lives from day to day, looking for a way not to make money, have as much free time as possible and at the same time make life miserable for the neighbor, because, after all, this "thief" can not have better than the main character. It's our job to make it all work out for him.

Gameplay

In Polish Simulator, we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The gameplay is motivated by the tasks set before us, which require us to, among other things, "drink" our brother-in-law, catch as many fish as possible, destroy our "neighbor's" brand-new Passerati or hunt for promotions in the Stonka store (although it is cheaper than the competing Lider, this comes at a price, including aisles piled with pallets).

At the same time, the various goals can be achieved in a variety of ways. For example, we can spray-paint the aforementioned car, pump one of its tires until it explodes, or at least take it out of the garage and sprinkle it with grain, prompting the surrounding birds to make it into an eatery and a toilet at the same time. Fish, on the other hand, can be caught like an amateur using a fishing rod, or we can use an "Ahtung" firecracker for this purpose.

Some of the paths leading to the completion of a given task are initially hidden from us, forcing us to combine. In selected cases, we must make an effort not to be caught in the act. Sometimes the missions also turn into a kind of race against time; this happens, for example, when there are still 30 seconds left before the market closes, and our shopping cart is not yet filled to the brim with promotional products.
