Low-Budget Repairs

Low-Budget Repairs is a humorous simulation game, allowing us to play the role of a so-called handyman. The production, which in Poland is called Majster Symulator, was developed by the independent Gray2RGB studio from Rzeszow, so far having mainly mobile projects in its portfolio.

Gameplay

Estate Tinker

In Low-Budget Repairs, we view events from a first-person perspective (FPP). During the gameplay, we play the role of a professional working on one of the Polish block housing estates from the 1990s. The protagonist knows everything related to "construction", so he can be entrusted with both a general overhaul of a bathroom or refreshing a room (including replacing floors and covering walls with wallpaper or painting them), and repairing a leaking faucet. Or at least that's how it seems to its customers.

Cheap and not necessarily good

Foreman Simulator skimps on specialized tools, and in order to earn as much as possible, we need to focus not so much on the quality of the work done, but on completing a given job at the lowest possible cost. For this reason, when laying tiles on the walls, it is not worth worrying about the fact that they are r?wn (the important thing is that they should stick in general), when getting rid of furniture, we can simply throw it out the window, while when painting walls, we should even dilute the paint with water to cover as much surface as possible.

Specialized purchases

We can spend the money we earn for completing more jobs on shopping at the DIY store, where we can find toolsin addition to materials. Although there is nothing to prevent us from trying to buy more and better equipment, we may as well be guided only by its price. Admittedly, in such a case the quality of our equipment will leave a lot to be desired, but over time we will begin to get used to it.
