Poison Pink is a combination of RPG and complex turn-based strategy. The player takes part in clashes with demons, also taking care of the condition of his army. The game preparation is the responsibility of the Japanese development studio Flight-Plan. The company became famous mainly due to the titles from the Summon Night series.
Poison Pink takes place in the fictional land of Beseku, namely, in the area of the shell connecting the world of people with the world of demons. The player learns the story of one of the three different heroes. These are Thazi, Olifen and Harshu. For each of these characters there is a separate plot. It is also worth adding that these people are ruled by conflicting interests, as a result of which two unselected heroes appear in the game in the form of opponents. However, the main purpose of the crossing is always the same. The controlled character must contribute to saving Princess Runash by using the blood of demons.
The real fun takes place on two different planes. The battle screen allows you to make moves in the turn-based system. The main improvement lies in the fact that the parties to the conflict perform their movements at the same time and not in change. The player defeats an army of demons, using his units and the skills of the main hero. A big attraction of the game is the need to catch demons. There are more than a hundred types of monsters to find and comprehend. Caught demons can be further trained and then exposed to combat. The second plane is the screen of your own base. The player is mainly involved in determining the composition of the army, but also takes part in intermittent scenes or acquires new equipment.
The visual setting of Poison Pink was maintained in manga style. The greatest emphasis was placed on the performance of the above mentioned demons, which were designed by artists such as Tomitika or Mirazawa. The clashes are played on three-dimensional and detailed boards. There were also detailed windows of statistics. Poison Pink does not have any multiplayer modes.
