Pocket Planes is an economic strategy developed by Nimblebit studio, which allows you to check yourself in the role of an airline CEO. Our task is to plan new connections, manage the crew, airports and planes, and take care of a balanced budget, carefully balancing expenses with income. We start the game modestly, but over time our business expands and we unlock bigger and more efficient planes, helpful parts and airport upgrades.

Pocket Planes is a mobile economic strategy released on AND and iOS. The game is available in a free-to-play model wtih microtransactions and was developed by Nimblebit studio, known for such titles as Pocket Trains, Tiny Tower Vegas, Bit City and Nimble Quest.

Mechanics

In Pocket Planes, we play as a president of the newly opened airlines. First, we determine the starting point for the company, indicating any country on Earth, and then it is up to us which way of development we choose. Our airlines can specialise in short distance travels, long distance, or both.

We must effectively manage crews, airports, planes and, as befits an economic strategy, ensure that the budget is balanced by striking a balance between investment, expenditure and revenue.

The action of the game takes place on the map of the whole world and allows you to visit more than 250 cities. Over time, we begin to unlock larger and more efficient planes, helpful parts and airport improvements.

All flights take place in real time, which requires careful route planning and coordination of the work of our entire sky fleet. The authors have also made available the option of modifying the appearance of planes and uniforms of our crew. It is also possible to compete with other players in regular events.
