Plants vs. Zombies Adventures is a tower defense facebook strategy. The player's task is to repel waves of zombies. To achieve this goal it uses seedlings that grow on plants that attack opponents or slow down their dreams. Between the missions we deal with the development of the town.
Plants vs Zombies Adventures is a browser edition of the popular series of tower defense games designed for Facebook, developed by PopCap Games. It is based on free-to-play business model with micropayments.
The action takes place after an epidemic outbreak that turned most of humanity into bloodthirsty zombies. We assume role of one of the survivors. This apocalyptic scenario, however, was treated with a large pinch of salt and the game is still kept in a climate of cartoonish comedy style. Missions take place mostly during subsequent travels by a caravan van. The vehicle stops at different locations and in each of them we are forced to deal with the hordes of the living dead.
Plants vs Zombies Adventures is a tower defense strategy game. The player's task is planting plants and mushrooms which aim is to eliminate the successive waves of zombies and prevent them from reaching the caravan van. You can choose from a wide selection of types of plants, offering a variety of both types of attacks, as well as serving as a barricade to slow down the march of the living dead. The creators abandoned the side view known from the first Plants vs Zombies and changed it into isometric view. As a result, zombies do not line up politely in a straight line. The route of their march is now full of turns, making it difficult to create defensive structures. Before each mission, we select a few plants and spread them on the map, so as to maximize their effectiveness against the waves of enemies. Then, during the game, we collect sunrays with which we fuel the next seedlings. The game has most of plant and zombie types known from Plants vs Zombies. They are also supplemented with a lot of new ones.
Another big difference in comparison with the original is the introduction of a mode in which we deal with the expansion of a nearby town. We start from a single house, and then we set off to conquer more land. After cleaning them of zombies, we can erect new buildings to provide additional resources. In the town, we also plant plants. Only in this way can we obtain seedlings which then we take on missions. Social elements are an interesting attraction. In addition to sending gifts to your friends, you can also visit their towns and let the zombies in which will begin an assault on the nearby buildings.
