Petz: My Monkey Family
Petz: Monkeyz House
Release Date: November 18, 2008
A family game in which we have to deal with the family of monkeys, designed mainly for younger players aged 6 to 12 years. Their tasks include feeding, stroking and playing with the pupils. An interesting option is the possibility of crossbreeding different species of monkeys, and then watching how the result of our mixture grows and changes.
Petz: My Monkey Family is a simple family game, in which players take care of a family of monkeys – the better you do your job, the more the animals like you. Similarly to other Petz games, this one too was developed and released by Ubisoft company with the view of the younger players aged 6-12.
Although My Monkey Family allows you to take care of a whole bunch of monkeys, initially you select only one animal. Your job is not very complicated – you just have to take care of the animals the best way you can – feed, pet, and play with them. In contrast to other similar games, where the aforementioned activities are the biggest attraction, here the most interesting feature is crossbreeding and watching how the monkeys grow up and evolve. Moreover, the character of a monkey and its relations with other members of the family, depend on how you raise it.
Of course, a lot of time you spend watching the animals play with one another. This time it is an even more enjoyable experience than in the previous Petz games, released on Nintendo DS, since you not only have a whole bunch of animals, but also they look and behave more realistically than before.
