Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth Description
Persona Q2 for 3DS is a classic dungeon-crawler with turn-based combat system. The main protagonists of the game are the cast of Persona 5, a game that was released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The title is a sequel to Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, a game that debuted in 2014. Similarly to its predecessor, it was developed by Japanese studio Atlus.
Mechanics
Persona Q2 for 3DS utilizes formula and gameplay mechanics from the Etrian Odyssey series. It is a classic dungeon crawler in which the player is traveling through a series of labyrinths observed from a first-person perspective. The player’s party consists of up to five people, each of them with unique skills and attacks taken from the main entries of the Persona series. The fights with the enemies are played on a separate screen, with the use of a turn-based system. The game features one of the characteristic traits of Etrian Odyssey series – the possibility to manually draw maps of explored undergrounds and locations.

Persona Series
A series of jRPG games overseen by Atlus. The series was launched in 1996, by the game Revelations: Persona, which is a spin-off of the brand Shin Megami Tensei (originally known globally as Revelations). The production, which debuted on PlayStation consoles, was so successful that it eventually gave rise to a new, separate series. Although from the beginning the series was associated with PlayStation consoles, over the years it has also made its presence felt on other platforms.
