Plot

Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders takes the player to a fairy tale version of Persia, where the shadow of imminent doom looms over the ancient civilization. When King Badiya succumbed to a deadly illness, Grand Vizier Zaved seized power in the country, bringing it to the brink of ruin - as if that was not enough, the population is being decimated by a mysterious plague. The main character, the pharmacist Tara, tries to solve these immense problems. The protagonist starts an investigation to find the source of the plague and prevent its further spread. The girl is not alone, as she can count on the help of a genie named Minu and a swordsman named Darius.

Mechanics

Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders does not stray far from the mechanics typical for the genre. During the game, we visit forty-one picturesque locations, where we solve puzzles of a varying degree of difficulty that revolve around the search for hidden items, characters, or objects. From time to time, we also take part in interactive mini-games and brew various potions based on the ingredients obtained during the adventure.

Technical aspects

Like most other productions of this type, Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders has high quality, hand-drawn graphics. The game also has an enjoyable soundtrack and animated cut-scenes depicting the game's story.
