Persian Nights 2: The Moonlight Veil is a continuation of Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders, produced by the same studio - Sodigital. It belongs to the HOPA genre.

Plot

The action of the game takes place in Persia, or rather in its version from the One Thousand and One Nights, in which we encounter mythical creatures like moonlings or simurgh. The events presented in Persian Nights 2: The Moonlight Veil take place at the end of Mathab Day, during which the aura of two moons makes people unable to use spells, but are forced to use the power of magical amulets.

There have been unusual accidents at the Academy, which were attempted by a mysterious person. At the same time, the main character's sister disappears unexpectedly. The player's task is to discover the truth behind these events and save his relative from oppression.

Mechanics

Persian Nights 2: The Moonlight Veil is a classic representative of the hidden object genre. During the game we visit 42 charming and mysterious locations, presenting Persia and the nooks and crannies of the Academy. Each of them offers hidden objects and items that are waiting to be discovered and used for a specific purpose, and dozens of different puzzles and mini-games: from the simplest ones in the form of finding the right symbols on the board to the more complicated ones in which you have to, for example, set up a beam of light reflecting from mirrors.

Technical aspects

The appearance of hand-painted locations reflects the exotic and magical atmosphere of fantastic Persia. Each of the levels was made with attention to detail. The soundtrack also builds a magical atmosphere. We learn the story with the help of animated film interludes.
