Paradise Island 2

Paradise Island 2, released on AND and iOS, is a continuation of a social city builder, which debuted in mid-2010 and became a real hit, both on mobile devices and on popular social networking sites (Facebook). The Lithuanian Game Insight studio specializing in similar productions is responsible for both games.

Mechanics

As in the case of the original, we become the owners of a dilapidated seaside resort, and our task is to transform it into a real tourist attraction and restore its former popularity. In order to do so, we are successively placing the next buildings: residential, commercial and entertainment. Progress in the game is realized by performing further tasks, for which we are rewarded with experience and money necessary for further development.

Each building fulfills a specific function and brings a specific profit which increases with the improvement of a given structure. Houses, bungalows and hotels will bring us profits from renting, and booths with drinks or hot dogs will earn us money from the tourists. The game is also full of decorations, affecting the satisfaction of guests and the whole range of entertainment buildings, where those who are eager for fun will also willingly leave their money. As we gain experience and advance to the next levels, we will unlock new buildings and improvements that will allow for further expansion of our resort.

Technical aspects

The graphics in Paradise Island 2 look much better than in the original created more than 5 years earlier and they still offer the characteristic, tropical atmosphere. The gameplay is accompanied by pleasant "tropical" music. Paradise Island 2 is available in a typical free-to-play model with microtransactions and enriched with traditional Game Insight studio social options, e.g. by inviting friends to play, we can gain a number of useful benefits.
