Official continuation of the legendary SSI game from 1994. We are moving back to World War II to take part in battles in Western and Eastern Europe, North Africa and a fictitious campaign in the USA.

Panzer General II is an official continuation of the legendary turn-based game by Strategic Simulations Inc. from 1994. The second part of the series takes us back to the times of World War II.

The game takes place between the civil war of 1938 in Spain and the hypothetical battles of 1946. Campaigns take place mainly in Western and Eastern Europe and North Africa. In addition to depicting classic, historical battles such as Leningrad, Dessau, Malta and Tobruk, in accordance with the tradition of the series, the creators also provide players with fictional scenarios, such as a hypothetical invasion of the United States.

The general objectives of the game remained unchanged. Our struggle is being fought on hexagonal fields of maps - although in this version the contours of the fields have been abandoned, which has undoubtedly benefited the visual layer. Each map consists of 13 different types of terrain, such as cities, mountains, swamps and forests, which of course has an impact on the course of the battle and the parameters of individual units. We receive these in turn 8 types, starting from reconnaissance and infantry, through tanks, anti-aircraft and anti-tank defence units, artillery and bomber aircraft. Our in-game results are rewarded with prestige points that can be used to purchase and upgrade our units. The course of each of the battles can be recreated and analyzed later on. It is worth noting that the game uses the names of real commanders from the Second World War.
