Collector's edition of a series of strategic war games based on popular board games. The package includes three campaigns of the greatest ancient leaders: Alexander the Great, Hannibal and Julius Caesar.
The Great Battles of Alexander recreates the ten battles of Macedonian leader Alexander the Great, from the time of Chaeronea in 338 BC to Hydapses in 326 BC.
In The Great Battles of Hannibal to play is the eleven largest battles of Cartaginian leader Hannibal, ranging from the massacre of Roman troops in Trasimene Bay to his defeat at Zama.
The last part of the series, The Graet Battles of Caesar, takes place during the reign of Emperor Julius Caesar, who in nine battles must oppose the troops of Pompey, wishing to take over the throne of the Roman Empire.
Turn-based gameplay takes place on maps divided into hexagonal fields of varied terrain. Campaigns can only be passed with one page, while individual battles can be played with any chosen page. The game also has a multiplayer mode that allows two people to play on the LAN or on the Internet.
