Out of the Park Baseball 23 is a part of the most popular beseball manager series. The authors acquired the license of the most important leagues of the sport and, in comparison with previous installments, implemented many improvements in graphics and gameplay.

Out of the Park Baseball 23 is the next installment of the sports strategy series that lets you play the role of a baseball team manager. The game, like all previous parts of the series, was developed by Out of the Park Developments studio.

Game mechanics

Game is based on MLB (Major League Baseball), MiLB (Minor League Baseball) and KBO (Korea's biggest league) licenses, as well as on licenses of many minor leagues, thanks to which Out of the Park Baseball 23 includes real teams, players and stadiums.

The game recreates the 2022 season, but also allows you to play all the historical MLB seasons, starting from 1871. The authors also made it possible to generate your own, completely fictional, League.

In Out of the Park Baseball 23, the player must manage the team, recruit new players, organize workouts and create strategies for games. It is also necessary to keep an eye on the team's finances. The game approaches its subject matter in a very realistic way, meticulously recreating all aspects of the sport, as well as offering accurate statistics for each athlete.

In comparison to previous installments of the series, Out of the Park Baseball 23 offers many new features. The 3D match visuals have been greatly improved by finally adding faces to the player models and implementing hundreds of new animations. The game also finally allows for full freedom in modifying team outfits and offers much more extensive tutorials. The match engine has also been improved and many previously unavailable customization options have been added for both single player and multiplayer modes.

Game modes

Players can play both solo and with other users. The game offers a rich selection of online modes, including the expanded Perfect Team module, which allows thousands of players to play together, effectively offering what can be described as a sports MMO.

Technical aspects

The game has a simple but clear graphics, mostly made up of two-dimensional graphs and windows. Only the matches are shown in 3D and in this regard Out of the Park Baseball 23 offers quite a few improvements in models, textures and animations in comparison with the previous installment of the series.
