OU Description
OU is an adventure game inspired by the works of Michael Ende, a German author of children's books. It was created by room6 and G-MODE.
Plot
OU is set in a mysterious land of U-chronia. Its protagonist is the titular OU, an amnesiac boy who's ended up in here in unexplained circumstances. He quickly meets a possum named Zarry and sets out on a journey alongside him, looking for answers to his questions.
Mechanics
OU is a side-scroller. The players explore the mysterious land of U-chronia, learning about it, talking to encountered characters, animals and other creatures. Not all inhabitants are friendly, so occasionally we'll need to face mighty beasts or run for our lives. The game also features numerous, clever puzzles.
Technical aspects
OU features a cartoonish artstyle resembling children's books illustrations. The atmospheric soundtrack mostly makes use of guitars.
