Minute of Islands is an adventure game with platformer elements. The game was developed by an independent team Studio Fizbin (the devs of the popular The Inner World series), and was published by Mixtvision.

Plot

Minute of Islands takes us to a picturesque archipelago once inhabited by both people and giants - the constructors of mysterious antennas to keep it safe. With time, the giants moved underground, and the devices they built began to destroy, which brought a deadly threat to the islands. The main character of the game is Mo, who decides to travel through the archipelago to repair damaged machines using a tool known as Omni-Switch. During the journey, the girl meets various personalities, learns the secrets of the islands and more about herself.

Mechanics

In Minute of Islands, the action is shown from the side. Exploring the archipelago, Mo avoids terrain obstacles, jumps over chasms, and jumps over platforms. The locations visited by her are varied - among them, we can find a beach, where the corpse of a dead whale rests, a village with the best years behind it, or even a gloomy underground. In addition, the protagonist talks to the memorable inhabitants and solves numerous logical and environmental riddles.

Technical aspects

Minute of Islands features colourful cel-shading visuals. The whole is kept in an interesting, disturbing style, and the atmosphere of mystery is intensified by the atmospheric soundtrack.
