Orbital Bullet Description
Orbital Bullet is a platform action game, enriched with roguelike elements. The game was developed by the independent German studio SmokeStab and published by Assemble Entertainment.
Mechanics
In Orbital Bullet we observe the action from the side. During the game, we play the role of a hero who travels across alien planets and eliminates hordes of enemies.
What distinguishes this production from other games is the fact that the various stages are based on a circular plan. When we play, we not only move around the board, we also shoot; another thing is that our adversaries also have the same opportunities, so you have to be constantly vigilant during the fights not to be surprised by a bullet coming from the opposite side of the board or by an enemy trying to attack us from behind. Additionally, the individual stages are multi-level, and defeating all enemies at a given level results in automatic teleportation to the next.
As we make progress, we are acquiring a more powerful arsenal; we can also create stronger weapons ourselves, using the resources collected along the way. In addition, from time to time, we receive implants that unlock new capabilities, which also increase our combat potential; their list changes every time we start a game.
Technical aspects
The graphic design of Orbital Bullet was maintained in a colourful, cartoon-like style. The game goes on with fast, rock music.
