Operation Wolf is a classic representative of the so-called "rail-shooters". What distinguishes him from other shooters is that we do not have any influence on the movement of our hero, and the only interactive element is a mouse-controlled viewfinder. The game allows you to play the role of a super trained commander, who got the task of infiltrating the enemy base. Although the mission goals set before us are really very different (e.g. freeing hostages or cutting off communications), everything boils down to shooting hordes of incoming opponents on both sides of the screen.

The program is divided into six different stages, which differ in terms of landscape. In each of them the number of enemies awaits to be eliminated: soldiers, helicopters, armoured vehicles or other heavy equipment. Our hero is armed with two types of weapons: a pistol and a grenade launcher. The amount of ammunition is, of course, limited. The art of survival in this game is therefore to use the available resources rationally and, of course, to quickly take off further targets, as opponents in the opponent's opponents are not beaten and also try to eliminate you. From time to time we can meet on the ground additional ammunition reserves and bonuses in the form of dynamite destroying everything that is on the board, or a machine gun that can shoot a continuous series for several seconds.
