Low-budget sports game, published by IQ Publishing. Gameplay allows you to compete with computer artificial intelligence or live opponents.
Olimpiada Letnia Description
Summer Olympics is a proposal of IQ Publishing company addressed to less demanding enthusiasts of virtual sports. Despite the coincidence related to the year of release (2008), the game does not have a license for the Beijing Summer Olympic Games.
According to the genre convention, players can play the roles of competitors competing in popular sports disciplines: running (on 100 and 400 m and 110 m over hurdles), jumping upwards, swimming (freestyle or butterfly style) and shooting. It is worth mentioning that all competitions are included in the program of the summer Olympics.
The game offers several fun options, including the possibility to play individual competitions or participate in the entire tournament. In addition to competing with artificial intelligence, the player can compete with live opponents thanks to multiplayer mode based on a traditional "hot chair". (hot seat).
The game is definitely more arcade than simulation character. The creators will try to have a simple control system, so that even less experienced players should not have problems with controlling the actions of virtual players.
The visual setting of the Summer Olympics clearly stands out from competitive productions (e.g. Beijing 2008). The drawbacks of three-dimensional visuals are especially visible in poor quality models of characters and unnatural-looking motion animations.
