Oh My Godheads Description
Oh My Godheads is a crazy arcade title developed by Spanish studio of Titutech. Developers have grown up with titles like Micro Machines, Worms and Street Fighter, and they tried to grasp the essence of multiplayer matches in these titles.
Game mechanics
Oh My Godheads for PS4, PC and XONE focuses solely on multiplayer mode. While there is option of fighting with characters controlled by artificial intelligence, it serves as nothing more than training. The game starts to shine in battles of up to four players, be it online or through local network. Players can choose from various characters, including a penguin, a girl clearly resembling Lara Croft, and a bearded treasure hunter.
The game revolves around antic talking heads, with players’ task coming down to capturing and taking them to a designated area. This sounds rather uncomplicated, though only in theory. Not only player has to deal with other competitors (which can be fend off with weapons or other gadgets, like exploding cakes), but also because of the heads themselves, which keep complaining and even blow up when they get angry. What’s more, there are several types of heads that slightly change rules of the game.
Technical aspects
Developers Oh My Godheads put all of their efforts to deliver an enjoyable experience. Because of that, the title uses quite modest visuals in cartoonish style.
