No Time To Explain, released on PC and XONE, is the first game of the independent tinyBuild Games studio. The production was created as a commercial version of a simple "flash game", which gained great popularity among Internet users.
Plot
The plot of No Time To Explain is full of an absurd sense of humor. The main character leads a peaceful life, but one afternoon... his future version falls into his apartment. The future version of your character manages to say "no time to explain" before he gets eaten by a giant crab. All that remains is a futuristic jet rifle. Without a second thought, the hero grabs the weapon and jumps through the broken wall of the house to see what happened.
Mechanics
No Time To Explain is characterized by high dynamics. The player's task is to steer the main hero and safely lead him through the levels, which are full of obstacles, traps, and enemies, such as UFO, sharks and giant crabs. The jet rifle can be used as a weapon or a gadget to access hard to reach places.
Technical aspects
From the visual side, No Time To Explain refers to the flash prototype. Simple 2D graphics are kept in cartoon style. The dynamic soundtrack makes the gameplay more pleasurable. The remastered edition of the game, released in July 2015, was created from scratch based on the Unity engine. Compared to the original version, the production has been enriched with new characters and weapons, as well as a local multiplayer mode for up to 4 players.
