Nitrobike is an extremely dynamic racing game, in which we sit at the helm of very unusual models of motorcycles. These are machines designed to move in the most difficult terrain. What distinguishes them from enduro machines, however, is that they are equipped with a jet drive, which can be used quite regularly. This is a kind of equivalent to the installation of nitrogen subltenide from the popular racing cars involved. As you can easily guess, this game has nothing to do with realism. What counts is pure, unhindered fun. In many ways, this title is similar to the Excite Truck, which was also released on Wii. Nitrobike's development studio Left Field Productions is responsible for the production of Nitrobike. It can be said that this game is an unofficial continuation of the hit Excitebike, released on Nintendo 64. The mentioned producer has also developed such games as MTX Mototrax or Dave Mirra BMX Challenge (PSP).
The player can count on a relatively standard range of gameplay modes. In the course of the game we start classic races, overcoming a certain number of laps. The winner is the person who will be the first to appear at the finish line. However, the possibility of racing over time is also provided for. The player's task in this case is to comply with the set limit. Each time there are different riders on the route, who can of course be pushed to the best of their ability, all the more so because the driving model encourages more aggressive behaviour.
One of the most important aspects of the game are the jets mentioned above. The manufacturer has prepared twenty different routes, located in many interesting places. It is a destroyed city, a beach or a forest. There were also impressive canyons and stadiums dotted with ramps. Performing correct air acrobatics plays an important role here. It is important to show more and more complicated tricks, as well as the correct landing of the machine. In addition to single player modes, there is also a multiplayer for four people. Visually Nitrobike looks relatively average. It should be noted, however, that races are held at a crazy pace. The game can be operated with a Wii remote control to simulate the inclination of a controlled player on subsequent corners.
