Network Q RAC Rally is the second rally game by Europress, after the release in 1988, still under the name of Mandarin Software, Lombard RAC Rally, available on Amiga and Atari ST computers.

In the game we can take part in 35 authentic special episodes, located in different parts of the world. Each of the rallies involves 30 drivers and 6 of them can be controlled by live players. They can adapt their driver by changing their name, nationality or age. We have five licensed cars at our disposal: Subaru Impreza, Ford Escort, Toyota Celica, Lancia Delta Integrale and Mitsubishi Lancer. Each of them is described with detailed technical data. Before each race, we have the opportunity to choose tyres to suit the changing driving conditions.

In Network Q RAC Rally we see the route from a driver's perspective. The routes have been designed in an interesting way, although they all look quite similar, and the average graphics do not allow you to fully enjoy the visual experience. The driving model is not too complicated, but it requires a good mastery, because our car is damaged every time it comes into contact with elements of the environment. Cracked glass or other mechanical damage can therefore completely eliminate us from the race before it is finished. During the breaks between the special sections we can make necessary repairs - provided that the time allows us to do so.

For less proficient amateur rally drivers there is a special "indestructible" option, thanks to which our car is only visually damaged, but this must not result in elimination from the race. There is also a training mode for routes with three different difficulty levels.
