Nekopara Vol. 0

Nekopara Vol. 0 is a classic two-dimensional visual novel adventure game in which we follow one day in the life of Shigure Minaduki and her six kittens. The game was developed by NEKO WORKs. This is a prequel to the games from the Nekopara series i.e. Nekopara Vol. 1, Nekopara Vol.2 and Nekopara Vol.3, which were released in 2014, 2016 and 2017.

Since the premiere of the first part, the Nekopara franchise has been a considerable success for such a small developer. In 2017, a half-hour animated adaptation of the game, which was financed through the Kickstarter service, had its premiere.

Plot

Nekopara Vol. 0 takes place in modern Japan. However, the country is inhabited by both people and cats, which at first glance resemble ordinary people. They are endowed with intelligence and the ability to communicate by speech. The title is a prequele of numbered versions of the Nekopara series, and its story takes place shortly before the first game. We follow one day in the life of Shigure Minaduki, the protagonist's younger sister, and her six cats (Maple, Vanilla, Chocola, Cinnamon, Coconut and Azuki) that fans met while playing the rest of the games.
