Need for Speed World Description
Need for Speed World Online is an online version of the famous racing series. The game was developed by EA Singapore and Black Box (known from several previous installments of Need for Speed and the Skate series).
The game takes place in a big city. It is divided into several stylistically diverse neighborhoods and filled with various attractions. The players can sprint (travelling through a designated section), classical racing (laps), and other types of gameplay. Each of the challenges can be played solo (against the computer) or with other players.
Drivers gain reputation points and money for participating in races. The first of these elements allows the driver to level up and unlock special abilities. With the money, we buy new cars and improve them. On higher levels we also get access to new challenges.
The players wandering the virtual city of Need For Speed World Online can chat with each other, challenge one another, jointly participate in races, and brag about their cars. In addition, in the game there are chases with the police - just hook up one of the police cars patrolling the city. Exploration of the metropolis was however pushed into the background because the specific attractions activate from the map.
Network Need for Speed is available for free, although it is based on an extensive system of microtransactions. For a small charge, we can purchase various bonuses (reputation, money), power-ups (that give an advantage while racing), or additional space in the garage. Real money also allows us to rent better models of cars for a few days. The graphics are not perfect, but nice enough.

Need for Speed Series
One of the oldest and most popular racing game series in the history of the industry. Need for Speed is one of the most valuable brands in Electronic Arts' portfolio, with the US company's in-house development studios, such as EA Black Box, EA Gothenburg, and Criterion Games, usually responsible for its subsequent installments. The series started in 1994 with The Need for Speed, designed for fifth-generation consoles (3DO, PlayStation, Sega Saturn) and PC. The production was prepared by the team from EA Canada studio, created as a result of the acquisition of Distinctive Software (devs of Test Drive and Test Drive II).
