Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars

A spin-off to the bestselling Grand Theft Auto series, at first developed for Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable handhelds and later converted to mobile devices as well. The story takes place in Liberty City, a place well known to the fans of the series. As Huang Lee, member of a Chinese criminal group, the player is trying to prove his worth, avenge the death of his father, and reclaim a valuable sword that for centuries was the symbol of his family’s power. The gameplay mechanics are similar to previous installments in the series, except for the missions being slightly shorter and the fact that the player can repeat failed actions. Other important changes include an auto-aim system, simplified driving mechanics, and the necessity of destroying police cars. A new interface and various mini-games were added to the game as well. The graphics of the game utilize cel-shading technology, combining the classic top-down view and isometric perspective.

Dark Secret is the subtitle of the next installment of the series of games, representing the so-called stealthy games genre. The plot takes us to feudal Japan. Again, we have the opportunity to play the characters characteristic of the series, namely Rikimaru and Ayame.

It belongs to a well-known cycle, treating about the construction and development of the city. This item was created on the basis of the game SimCity 3000 published in January 1999, although it is not a 100% conversion.

The first installment of the cRPG game about plumber brothers was titled Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and was released on Game Boy Advance in 2003. Nintendo decided to continue to exploit the idea and produced a sequel entitled Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, this time for a two-screen NDS console.

Luminous Arc is a combination of adventure game and turn-based strategy. Its assumptions are very much reminiscent of such titles as Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis. However, it is not a carbon paper, but only borrows key elements, adding a lot from each other.
