Arcade 07 March 2006

A game released for Game Boy Advance, developed by Tomy, based on the wildly popular manga and anime series Naruto. The game tells the story of two young ninja students: Naruto Uzumaki and his rival, Sasuke Uchiha, who compete with each other to prove which one of them is a better warrior. The game also features a third playable character: the boys' teacher, Kakashi. In contrast to Clash of Ninja, released for Game Cube, Naruto: Ninja Council is a so-called walking-fighting game with platform elements. Your task is to move towards one side of the screen, jumping over various obstacles, and, first and foremost, eliminating enemies and bosses. Apart from standard attack, which include punches, kicks and shuriken throws, you can also use special abilities. The game's style and atmosphere resemble that of the original manga and anime series.
