The third installment of the fighting game series that started on Game Boy Advance, based on the cult manga by Masashi Kishimoto. In Naruto: Ninja Council 3, we assume the role of one of over 20 heroes, including the eponymous Naruto Uzumaki. Each one has a different set of skills and a unique fighting style. The key to success is to choose the right character depending on the kind of mission and to create our own style of playing.
Naruto: Ninja Council 3 is a fighting game and another installment of the series based on the cult anime by Masashi Kishimoto. Both the game and its cartoon original present the struggles of the eponymous Uzumaki Naruto, an adept of ninjutsu. The said production was developed with NDS in mind.
Mechanics
Starting out, the player chooses the character from over twenty available heroes. Among them, apart from Uzumaki, we can find Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Kakashi Hatake, Neji Hyuga, Rock Lee, Tenten, and Might Guy, among others. Every one of them has their own fighting style and a unique skill set. Choosing the protagonist, we should pay attention to what abilities are require to complete a given level. Applying adequate techniques, we can equip our current character with traits of another warrior. It allows us to create a completely new style that can be the best way to beat a level.
Way over forty missions are located in fifteen locations which are familiar to the anime lovers. Completing these tasks multiple times lets us master our favorite blows and blocks. By operating the stylus on the touchscreen or by blowing in the microphone, we can perform a number of special attacks—for example, in case of Sasuke, we use fire.
Game modes
Apart from single player mode, the developers prepared a multiplayer fight system, playable over Wi-Fi. In multiplayer, up to four users can compete against one another or against time.
