MXGP 2020 Description
MXGP 2020 is the sixth instalment of the motocross racing game cycle. The Italian studio Milestone is responsible for the development of this game, which has a very large experience in the field of racing games (responsible for such games as Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo, Gravel, MotoGP or RIDE).
Mechanics
MXGP 2020 uses a FIM licence - Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme - which allows you to find more than sixty drivers and nearly twenty tracks of the famous real world (more specifically, the 2020 season of the MXGP and MX2 racing classes). Players also have the opportunity to create their own hero, and the appearance of both his and his motorbike can be adjusted using 10,000 different objects - these are licensed things, related to more than a hundred brands associated with this discipline of motor sport (it is worth noting that some of them also affect vehicle performance).
In the MXGP 2020 you will find an arcade driving model that is also not without a certain amount of realism. The player must balance the weight and body of the driver (e.g. during jumps) and pay attention to the corners. In the game you can also find the weather system, which has a real impact on driving conditions.
Game modes
In MXGP 2020 we can play alone or with others. Here we have a career mode, as well as a free-riding module called Playground, which allows you to ride a route inspired by Norwegian fjords (we can play both alone and in the company of three other players). It is worth noting that the multiplayer mode uses dedicated servers and the Race Director function, which makes the experience even more interesting (we can, among others, change start positions and give penalties).
MXGP 2020 also offers a track editor that allows you to create your own maps based on one of the four biomes (plains, forest, rocky canyon and vineyard). With the new Heightmaps feature we can easily replicate the challenges of real MX tracks. The results of your work can be shared with other users.
Technical aspects
MXGP 2020 has attractive three-dimensional graphics. The graphic design is characterized by high level of detail, which is visible both in motorbike models and drivers, as well as reliably reproduced and diversified environment.
