Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 3

Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 3 is a racing game dedicated to supercross (off-road motorcycle racing on specially prepared tracks). The game is the third installment of the series started in 2017 and was developed by Milestone.

Mechanics

Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 3 boasts an official Monster Energy Supercross 2019 license, allowing for real players and teams to appear in the game, as well as real machines and tracks.

The game enables us to create our own biker (we decide about their sex and appearance) and either create our own team or join one of the existing ones. The pillar of the game is taking part in races on tracks made of earth and sand, full of various obstacles in the form of jumps and bumps. There's also nothing to stop us from perfecting our skills on a test track inspired by the iconic Supercross Test Area in California.

The driving model is realistic; in working on this position, the creators have focused on the physics engine, so that the differences between the various motorcycles are clearly perceptible, and success is ensured both by the skilful use of the individual machines and the proper balancing of the rider's body.

Game modes

Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 3 features a career mode, in which we not only start in subsequent competitions, but also manage our team, while taking care of relations with sponsors and expanding the group of fans. In addition, we can try our hand at racing against other players (for the purposes of multiplayer mode the devs took care of dedicated servers), taking part in single championships or organizing our own tournaments (as organizers we decide on their most important elements - among other things, we choose the starting positions and determine the rules of competition). A separate mention should be made of the track editor, which enables us to create our own tracks and share them with the whole community.

Technical aspects

Like its predecessor, Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 3 is powered by Unreal Engine 4. The graphics in the game are of high quality - both faithfully reproduced motorcycles and deformed ground, as well as richly animated racers are appealing. This is complemented by realistic sounds from motorcycles.
