A cyberpunk adventure game from Stranded’s developer, Peter Moorhead. Murder takes us a few decades into the future, to futuristic Tokyo. We play as Motomeru Minori, a female police lieutenant, who investigates a strange and very dangerous case of murder. While she tries to uncover the truth behind this dark mystery, the heroine must question her definition of morality and consciousness.
Murder, released on PC, iOS and AND, is a cyberpunk adventure game. The production was developed by Peter Moorhead, the author of Stranded, which belongs to the same genre.
Plot
The action of Murder takes place in the futuristic version of Tokyo. Murder tells the story of detective Motomeru Minori, a lieutenant in the metropolitan police. She is assigned a strange and very dangerous murder case, which will cause the woman to question her own definition of morality and consciousness.
Mechanics
In terms of gameplay, Murder is a classic adventure game. We explore locations, have conversations, collect items and solve puzzles. The game offers an intuitive interface, which at certain moments becomes an integral part of the story.
Murder is a small and cheap position, which is an interactive equivalent of a short story, as the campaign will take you about an hour to complete.
Technical aspects
The graphics in Murder were made in a retro style full of big pixels. We are accompanied by atmospheric music composed by an American musician known as kubrixXx.
